(Q) When should I contact the funeral director.
(A) As soon as the death has been confirmed and permission for removal has been granted.
(Q) What service will the funeral director provide.
(A) Following removal to the chapel of rest, the funeral director will advise on registation and
co-ordinate with the crematorium/burial services and clergy/officiant with regard to an
mutually agreeable timetable.
(Q) How soon can this take place.
(A) This is dependant on type of service and the circumstances , but usually within a week.
(Q) Can the funeral director arrange for flowers , catering and service sheets.
(A) Yes.
(Q) Do we get our own relatives ashes back from the crematorium.
(A) Yes, the crematorium will provide a certificate and the ashes can be collected a minimum of
24 hours after the cremation for dispersal or burial.
(Q) How much will the funeral cost.
(A) The cost can be detailed once the arrangements have been confirmed, prior to the service taking place.
(Q) Will we have the oppertunity to view the deceased.
(A) Yes, this can be arranged in the privacy of the chapel of rest.
